WCPSS 2024 Summer Leadership Conference

We will have a fun filled session learning how to engage Minority and Women businesses. Central Service Staff and School-Based Leaders will gain resources to enhance their utilization of minority business participation in their respective schools and departments when purchasing goods and services. They will get the opportunity to learn how to use Minority and Women Businesses as a Good Faith Effort (GFE) when procuring goods and services. They will also learn about compliance in regard to efforts as it relates to the WCPSS MWBE Procurement Policy and NC DOA State laws. Finally, they will learn about technical assistance from OEA's Supplier Diversity Staff on how to search for Minority and Women vendors on the NC DOA State website, and the Purchasing Minority Vendor Listing.
