WCPSS 2024 Summer Leadership Conference

In this session, participants will explore the revised first grade writing curriculum. Participants will explore: key components and the philosophy of the first-grade writing curriculum, the structure and organization of the curriculum, differentiation strategies to support diverse learners, the structure and rubric for assessing student proficiency, and will reflect on teaching practices and adjustments needed to effectively implement the curriculum during the 24-25 school year. This session is ideal for any educator who will interact with first grade students and teachers.
