WCPSS 2024 Summer Leadership Conference

How can we get better at getting better? How is an improvement science approach to improving different from other approaches? What holes does it fill and how does it complement our existing efforts? How might improvement science support our efforts to address inequities?

In this session, participants will be introduced to improvement science and the six core principles of improvement. Participants will develop an understanding of how improvement science is grounded in a human-centered approach that gives voice and agency to those most directly involved in the work and, perhaps more importantly, those most immediately affected by it. Through opportunities to apply the six principles in interactive activities, you will walk away from this session with an introductory understanding of improvement science.
